JD 5200 Steering issue

Hi, We have a JD5200 that runs great. That was until yesterday after about 4 hours of bushogging. Everything worked fine till we were loading on the trailer - and then sudden loss of steering. All other hydraulic components work fine. No noises or leaks. Fluid is full. When I jack it up in the front with the engine off, I can turn the steering wheel and the wheels move back and forth - not bound up. Not sure what to check to fix this problem. It has not had one instance of this before. Just suddenly will not steer using the steering wheel. I can barely turn the steering wheel and when I do, nothing happens. Thanks for any ideas.

Does the hydraulics work? Seen this already. Brakes disintegrated plugging the screen. Any hydraulic problem look to the filters!

i would say for soe reason you got bunch trash metal in steering valve that locked it up they can be taken apart cleaned had one come in case ih the pump trowed some metal into it cleaned steering valve replaced pump
