JD 5210 steering problems

My tractor is steering fine when first started. After about 15 minutes it becomes difficult to turn the steering wheel. Checked hydrological fluid and it is full. Any advice?

How long since part # RE45864 OIL FILTER was changed? Also check hyd oil pressure with a gauge.

Did you figure this out? Mine is doing the same thing. All other hydraulics are fine.

Please, start a new thread of your own. Along with what Tx Jim posted about the guys you are asking about their fix status haven't visited in years, what often happens is some will read the first post of the thread and start replying to that original poster, not noticing you revived the old thread for a similar problem.

Tell what your tractor is, history as to how long you have had it and any service history and other issues it has had.

As Tx Jim posted in the other old thread you asked in, when was the suction screen last cleaned? It looks like you are now headed for that and the hydraulic filter. Are you running Hy Gard or a J20C fluid?
