Does a John Deere 5275GV have a defroster in the cab for working in the winter?

Hello Dave, welcome to YT! It would probably depend on how it is equipped as far as options. I would say a sub-compact tractor built with a cab would very likely have Heat and A/C in the cab, part of this I would think would be a windshield defrost system.

I find a 5075GV but not a 5275GV when looking at John Deere parts. If this is a vineyard/orchard tractor with a cab, I would expect heat with defrost of some type and AC. Many will have environmental air filtering for use around spraying operations.

What is the story? You looking to buy one and can't go look at it, or just curious?

I agree with Jim.ME there was no JD tractor model 5275GV. I think your tractor's cab has a heater. Do you have an operators manual for your tractor? If not you can download a Free OM at https://techpubs.deere.com/en-US/Search/Equipment

I see you were back and read this since TX Jim and I posted questioning the model. Are you on a secret mission and can't answer if 5075GV is the model or with the story behind your question?

I made a mistake on the model sorry it was a 5075GV. I went and looked at it today 65 miles away and found it was a bare bones model. Had no options when built at all. I was looking for a snowblower tractor with a defrost but can't find any model with a true defrost.

We used an auxiliary fan or two as needed to move air around in such cases.

That's what I was thinking with the 5220C Branson that I bought and used last winter. It's the same as all smaller tractors no defrost. didn't realize they built small tractors without defrost.

You can get a heated fan at most truck stops (probably Amazon too) that plugs into a power outlet. Many of them can be bolted to something, so you could mount it where you want it.
