JD 544b engine knocking noise?

Ive got a ( new to me)JD 544b that Im thinking has a fuel issue. It doesnt have rev up power. Im getting fuel to the injection pump and to the injectors. Injectors are new. I was thinking to pull the injection pump and have it pressure tested? But Ive never done this and supposedly two timing marks have to be lined up before its pulled. I only find the one timing mark behind the coverplate. If with engine running. Is it possible the former owner didnt have the injection pump in time? It makes a ticking sound continuously even when revved up.

Im wondering if the injection pump is my culprit. I cant find the second mark behind the cover plate. Supposedly you have to lineup to marks before pulling the pump? The tractor makes a ticking noise constantly when running. It also doesnt have rev up power. It falls flat on it face. I have fuel all the way to the new injectors.
