JD 5510 Fuel Filter Problem

Tractor quit in typical fashion of a plugged fuel filter. Replaced filter with a new one topped off with fuel, would run 4 - 5 seconds and quit. Tried to bleed filter and pump with no result. Both locations would dribble just a bit while priming but not the volume I was expecting. Curious if there is another filter upline? Tank? Line from tank to filter? Was a bit surprised when I dumped fuel from the old filter into a jar. It looked as clean as fresh fuel.
While I'm on the subject, one of you sent me a link awhile back that had a parts blowup and list for this tractor from JD that has helped many times. Lost it when I updated devices and would love to get it again. Thanks!

Check the fuel flow from the tank by removing the hose from the filter base inlet. Gravity should give you a good solid steam at that point.

Before doing that I would close the fuel inlet valve at the filter base and unscrew the hand primer. Remove that and see what you find in there. Amazing how
much trash can accumulate in there. Any debris in there can definitely affect fuel flow regardless of how clean (or new) the filter is.

What did the link get you to? John Deere parts website, or a specific page concerning the fuel system?

So the hand primer will just turn out? No set screws? Sorry to be a pest but just wondering what tools to take to a stranded tractor in a chisel plowed field. Channel locks? Thanks no rush.

A plastic ring on top of the filter base. All it should take is a pair of channel locks. Unscrew the ring and lift the pump assembly out. I usually plan on blowing out the bowl if I'm taking one apart.
