JD 567 baler question

I starting baling yesterday and about every 20 bales the net wrap would not stop. The monitor showed it still wrapping. I had to get out and cut the wrap and then turn monitor off several time to stop the wrapper. What is going on?

Do any codes appear on monitor? Have you frequently greased the 2 knife arm pivot points inside rear wrap door? Have you checked voltage required to operate wrap actuator motor(channel 14)

No codes are showing and I grease it regular. I have not checked the voltage but the tractor gauge looks fine. seems like the monitor is not telling it to cut the wrap.

Its wired into a circuit breaker. Used it
for years there and also plug my kenzie
planter monitor into it. It's on a 4250
deere.

So you guessed below maybe the monitor is not telling the baler to cut the wrap. I am not familiar with that system but it sounds like it is time to check all the wires and connectors from end to end if that is all run electrically.

Just my thought reading this thread.

I had the same problem as you but on a 566. It would bale 10 bales or so then the net wouldn't cut. My knife wouldn't return to home position. I checked all my connections and checked voltage at my actuator. Even borrowed another monitor and tried it with same results. I went to John Deere and ohm'd a new actuator they had and then mine and kept getting weird readings. Everything pointed to it. Bought new actuator from deere and yes it was expensive but it fixed my net wrap issues. On my fourth roll of net wrap and it hasn't missed a tie yet. Knock on wood...

If you baled some tough hay in time the can build up some crap on the knife brush and it won't let the knife move far enough. Had it happen once on a 568 even if you baled some with a heavy dew on it can happen .
