I’ve baled a couple hundred bales with no issues so far this year. Suddenly on the last 20 bales, the netwrap wouldn’t cut. I pulled in the shop and checked voltage, channel 18, which was good. Put monitor on channel 19 and cycled several times. Actuator was fine, V belt tension is fine and brake is good. Removed brush and knife. Knife was sharp. Did find build up under brush on left side, which caused the aluminum brush to scratch the steel roller. Cleaned out and replaced everything. Baler wrapping and cutting as it should now. My question is, should I just remove that brush and leave it off? I saw a YouTube troubleshooting video that recommended leaving it off. Thanks.
