jd 5830 cutter head

I have a john deere 60 knife cutter head , every one I talk to sez they never herd of one , I have one to prove them wrong , does any one have one of these . it must be after market

There where several companies that offered a cutter head with more knives on it. They where supposed to increase capacity in that you could still get a fine cut with faster feed roll speeds. It did that a little bit but not enough to really notice.
