Looks like a serial number break at 20000-20001 on the cable and control. Is he looking for just the cable or a complete assembly?

From the description I got its the older version and needs both as cable is stuck. He said we sold this to his dad new when were their dealer in the 1960's. I did google it and there seems to be some type of aftermarket cables available but I need to verify the serial number thanks

Without seeing his cable, in the parts catalog it looks like one could be made from a universal type of choke or throttle cable.
