JD 630 Power Steering

I have a 630 with power steering. It will only turn to the right with the engine running. You can turn it back to the left with the engine off but once started it will turn back to the right on its own. Does anyone have any ideas or know what is wrong with it?

There's a real good JD power steering repair manual that will give you the best instructions to fix your problem.

That being said, there's a valve on the right side of your front pedistal, mounted with slotted holes. You have to slightly loosen the mounting bolts and tap the valve forward or back to center it for proper operation right and left.

I recommend the manual. It's very detailed.
