While plowing and discing with my 70 last week, I noticed that when the tractor was not under load (going down a slight grade, etc., with the implement up) the engine would run wide open regardless of the throttle lever position. While under load, the tractor responds immediately when the throttle lever is retarded or advanced. I'm guessing this is a problem with the governor. Can this be corrected with a simple adjustment, or is there a bigger problem? Does anyone have advice? Thanks.
