What is everyone's opinion of the 7200 vacuum planters?? I am looking for one just to use to plant corn and its a 12/30 with the wing fold version not
a front fold type. Only planting 400-500 acres a year of corn. Thanks for the input.

Deere meters or Precision?? The early Deere vacuum meters can't be updated to precision if you wanted to. I ran into that.

Otherwise it's been a great planter. I have a 6 row, just bought a 1770 now though, and am looking to move the 6 row.

Im not sure its an estate and its a later one but not one of the last build when did they change the corn unit design ?

I think if it is poly, it's the newer one. I like the precision meters better, but they take more air and hydraulic capacity. Make sure your tractor is compatible. A Gen 2 tractor can be a bit borderline for hydraulics on a vacuum 12 row if you have precision meters. There is ways around that, but know what you are buying first.
