looking for some help on pricing my 730lp its a 60 model i have in the barn and a neighbor who rebuilds alot of tractors is wanting it. i dont have much of a clue what its worth and really havent made up my mind if selling. it runs on a pull start. the bendix went out last summer and havent replaced. has hydraulics with draft o matic 3 point. has new tires on the front. the rear are bad but will hold air. any help would be great. i was thinking around 2500$ but dont want to take a hosing either. thanks

I would say that is a bit low but pretty close depending on how straight and original it is. The LP tractors were pretty decent price until this year. The low gas prices have taken their prices down quite a bit.

Location has a lot to do with value as does condition of rear tires, type of frt axle and if it has a factory 3 pt with factory centerlink. $2500 sounds cheap to me for a 730 lp that will run.

We paid $2750 ea for 2 a couple of years ago that didn't run but would turn over. Both had rough complete 3pts & wide fronts.
I would say at least $3550.00 to start with, maybe more. One tractor we ended up putting in another $1000.00 to get it running.
My Dad likes the LP tractors; the gas never goes bad. The first one we got running had been sitting for a LONG time and the leftover fuel in the tank started it right up.

Ok thanks guys. It's a tricycle front end with roll O matic. It's all factory 3 point and hydraulics. They offered 1500 and I thought that was pretty low. The tractor was a gift to me and I only buy bigger tractors for the farm now so didn't have a clue. But it runs good. Needs timing I'm sure adjusted to be perfect but it will fire right off bat. I know for sure that makes it worth more. I live in Texas and tractor collecting isn't quite as popular here as in north.

Ive bought them from 1000, to 1800, and Ive offered 2200 for one you got to consider how much more you will spend to get it up in tip top shape,a person could give you one free and you could still end up with 35oo in it.

I live in Vernon tx. Up on the red river. I'll try and get some photos added this afternoon. It's not to ruff of a tractor. The worst thing on it is the breather is bent and the muffler broke when the guy who owned it pulled it into a barn to short and didn't stop in time.

Ok Jim. It's raining here thank the lord so I'll have time now to get out of barn and get some pics of it for you
