JD 850 2 cyl prototype

Was there ever such a tractor as 850 2cyl diesel prototype or is this an Eertl hoax? If true would be nice to see more info and photos. thank.

The 30 series 2 cylinders were originally to be called the 50 series. There are some photographs of a lineup lettered as such. For whatever reason, the decision was made to call it the 30 series. Perhaps because IH had a 50 series already???
