JD A Temp Gauge

JD A 1951 Model: I have a temperature gauge that I would like to repair instead of replace, because it is an original replacement with JOHN DEERE on the white face. I can't find the original replacements any more. How do you solder the probe back on the end? I am not very good at soldering. Does anyone do that kind of work? Thanks!

Go to EverGreen Gauges and buy one ready to go. Jerry has researched what the original was and makes the new one exactly like it. You will not be disappointed. Tube will be right length, bezel painted the color it was from factory, lettering on face same a orig. There is no point in trying to reclaim the old one,sad but true. If you did it, how would you get the right amount of fluid back in the tube/bulb?
