JD AOS information

I just purchased a 1937 AOS. Obviously I will be doing the serial # research through Two-Cylinder Club... but I"m looking for production information. Specifically - how many AOS models were made? Also - being this is the first AOS in our collection - I would be interested in sharing emails with anyone who has an AOS that they have restored. I may need some expertise as we try to put this beauty in Expo condition. For example - I know it has the wrong petcocks on it... no clue what kind it should have though...

There were 891 AOS tractors built between 11-23-36 and 10-28-40.

Get yourself a copy of the 63 page Model AO (Streamlined) Tractor parts catalog PCR48 or early number CAT-48R to know if parts on it are correct. Yes had it's own parts catalog separate from the other A tractors. JD Publication 1-800-522-7448.
