JD AR Parts

Just wondering if there is anyone on here that has a John Deere AR parts tractor. Mine is a 1952. I am looking for a good upper cast coolant pipe, coolant drain plug and gear shift lever knob. Could also use a couple battery trays and 8" brackets crews, but i doubt anyone would have any less rusted than mine.

I'm in Alberta, Canada and would even consider buying a complete parts tractor if someone has one.

i make my own upper coolant pipes. the drain plug is just a 1 inch pipe plug . the pipe is brazed in. i just grind it out and j.b. weld the new pipe in. you need to get the pipe expanded at a muffler shop. bring your calipers with you. plus there is a slight bend to make. i did not remove the cast housing on this tractor as did not want to break bolts. did this on my 2 AR's.

Pto shaft is removed from tractor and on the floor boards. Inoperable magneto is missing.

Call Marvin for more info and viewing appointment. Telehandler will be available for load out from July 4th to 8th from 9.00 to 6.00 PM.

If it is missing, how do they know it is inoperable.

I get a kick out of this kind of statement that shows up in auction descriptions every so often.

I wonder if there should have been a hyphen after the word "inoperable". In other words, "the tractor is inoperable because the magneto is missing."
