JD auction in northern Minnesota. Tractors sold cheap given their mechanical condition and level of restoration. All had new or very good tires and new paint. Many with rebuilt engines.

1957 JD620 am wfe, am 3pt,, new tires, rebuilt engine $3000, 1954 JD 70 ROM, no p/s, no lpto, good mechanicals $1900, 1955 JD60 ROM p/s, engine rebuild $1100, 1952 JD60 no p/s good mechanicals $1100, 1953 JD50 engine rebuilt $1600, 1949 JD A $1000, 1948 JD A $1000, 1942 JD B new rear tires $600, 1949 JD B $950.

Irony...running/complete JD 60 with p/s, lpto very good tires, new paint, clutch , new bearings, new rings , new water pump rebuilt starter and carb sells for $1100 and at the same auction almost new two 14.9 x 38 tires, tubes and repainted rims sold for $965. Go figure !
 
By mid winter they will be down to the point of being good "stock" to buy. Doesn't take much in the way of media attn , the right TV show or the right beer advertisement to change in a minute and there one sits with all them hay makers. Has happened with dog breeds , cars , clothing etc.They get low enough, this guy will buy.
