JD "B" Tire Size?

Did John Deere change the rear tire size from 36 inch to 38 inch on the later model B's? I was looking at one the other day which had a steel frame, hydraulics, and roll-a-matic front that I thought had 38's on it.

I have a 36 B with cutoff 38 inch wheels so I'm assuming they were probably installed after the war. Meanwhile I have a 35 A with 36 inch spokes and 16 inch spokes on the front.

Could always check the parts book instead of guessing .

IIRC my 50 had 38's. 42's on a B conjures up images of the monkey and the football. My 340 Utility has a set of Kubota wheels on the back with 18.4x30's, and 7.50x16's on the front, and has an M/450 size Farmhand loader on it. Looks like Jack the Bear until you let the clutch out and confirm that it is still Baby Bear
