Does anyone have a source for quality John Deere caps? I recently ordered several caps that looked good in pictures from one of the dealers' online stores and ended up with junk. I'd gladly pay 12 to $15.00 for a quality cap but these probably cost $.75 each to produce.

I order my caps from the dealer. He goes thru Deere but they are made in ORANGE CITY , Iowa zip 61041. 800-369-4675 may or may not get ahold of them . If they dont say "K-BRAND " THEY ARE JUNK! I hate a cap that flops on top of my head. If the seed corn salesman only has the cheap china junk I just let him keep them. I pay abt $12 per cap and order a dozen at a time. They are in the John Deere dealers clothing book.

Jim, it's not likely you will be able to get anything that says John Deere on it unless you so through a merchandiser due to licensing fees. However, if you are looking for that color of cap with the old K-Brand quality be aware that K-Brand has been sold to Staples. Our club bought some caps from Staples and they are just like the old K-Brand caps and even still say that on the adjuster band. Mike

call 888-231-1236 at the John Deere collectors center in Moline IL. it's the direct merchandise center for John Deere. got some real nice hats there.
