jd drill seeder need help IDing

Just bought a JD drill seeder, need assistance is IDing it so I might locate a parts catalog and manual. Can not find a S# or any other number except casting numbers on some parts

That's a neat find. Made to pull behind a moldboard plow. Dad had one when I was a "little
shaver". Rode with him some during spring planting season. McCormick-Deering 22-36 tractor with P & O plow 3-14 and one of these PD pony drills.

I'm excited also with the find. It also works just need a few bolts and alignments. Thanks Jim for the info.

stuff Is getting harder and harder and a little more worthless

Good morning, seems like I'm always looking for assistance. Got the manual and part listing. Now where to find them. Local JD was no to little assistance. Need to find a parts yard. Anyone got a suggestion. Seems the parts I'm looking for are common to a number of drillers. thanks ahead of time

There are two gears that engages the shaft that turns the seed doors. To keep the gears engaged there is a spring and two washers. The seeder now will not stay open dropping the seed
