JD fenders?

what tractor did these fenders come on. Owner says their stock for a 70 but I haven’t found a picture to verify that.

Whatever they are for, they are rough under that new paint.

Those fenders were used on the earlier letter series tractors and then they changed to the clam shell type.
They changed on the G in 1950 to the clam shell type at serial number 41668 according to the parts manual.
The 70 series parts manual does not show that fender style, but if you like them go with it.

The flat head fenders you show were usd on A, B, and G models up until the early 1950 model year and then changed to clam shell fenders.

Pete in MD is correct. Clam-shell fenders were factory for the 50-60-70 tractors. 1952-1953.

Those fenders 1st showed up in 1937 and used on the A, B, G tractors as stated above.

I have a 1950 JD A with them, and I was told that they were a option then.

I have a set of those on my ”60”. They are not correct, but they serve me well.
