Has anyone had any experience with the new John Deere Gator? We have a 625i, it's not a tractor but it sure does pull and go through and haul. It is beyond my expectations. We always had Polaris 4-wheelers but I don't think we will be going back to them. Any Feedback?

I bought a Used tandem 5 wheeler 15 years ago
with all the bells & whistles at the time.
Other than a Battery or two, & tires we"ve
used it for about everything. A very usefull
machine for our needs.

I have an 850D I use on the farm. Average 500 hours a year on it. It has the independent suspension and I have had to replace a couple of wheel bearings, wheel hub, clutch, brakes, glow plugs, temperature sensor and a boot since I've owned it in the last three years. Not as rugged as the old 6X4 gator I had before(still have with 5000+ hours), but the ride is no comparison. Looked at a new Polaris with the yanmar diesel yesterday and was impressed with it. The Yanmar diesels are excellent engines.

Have a 6x4 gas, bought it new in 2004,putting my first battery into it this year (500hrs),other then a flat nothing, but going to buy a 850 soon,,but will keep the 6x4.

I have both, A Ploaris 250 and a 5 wheel Gator.
Around here they both get used a lot. The gator is a work horse but slow and the polaris is great to run around quickly.
