I am searching for the 5/8 x 1 1/2 slotted headless set screws that would be in place of the bolster implement studs. I can't find a part number. I did however, find a similar part , but I'm not sure if it is identical. If anyone has any of these, I would sure like to purchase some.... It is for a 1941 H.

Curious where you found that P/N, 22H1042.

Those Headless Set Screws were originally furnished on earlier "H" tractors to plug the Top Implement Mounting Holes had P/N B1529R and were 5/8” x ¾” according to Repair Catalog 54-R shown below. That P/N shows up in all the old IPLs (Instructions and Parts Lists, also known as owner’s manuals) but then disappears. Later Repair catalogs and Parts lists do not show that number but do show a hex head cap screw (5/8” x 1-1/2”) for that application. That cap screw was first identified as P/N A2823R and in later publications shown as P/N 19H1335R, or without a P/N for some pedestals. So it appears that sometime in production, the B1529 headless set screw was discontinued and the hex head capscrews were furnished as standard equipment on tractors instead of being furnished with cultivators.

It doesn’t appear those headless set screws are readily available, but it would be easy to make some by merely cutting off ¾” of the threaded end of a 5/8” bolt and cutting a slot across the top by either sawing it or by milling it using a very narrow cutter.

My problem is this:
I have an H with one of these frozen in the bolster, and I'm afraid to try drilling it out, so I just wanted to get another one so it looks symmetrical.
