I would say it is. See if there are any JD markings anywhere to id as a JD other than green paint though.

That hitch sure looks like the one here that was on my Dad's John Deere A.
We had couture strips and that hitch really helped a lot making for a good plowing job.
I would be very curious what that hitch sells for or just how many people
know what it was used for. Thank you for posting the picture.

Thanks for posting the item. Some the old original owners manuals for the plows did show hitch attachments in the parts diagram section. You could reference that neat item there, I believe.

Friend has two of them i was going to buy, but he passed and might get them on his auction. He wanted $100 each and i was fine with that.
