Does anyone know if the I&T manuals sold by YTMAG contain tune up specs for a JD-M tractor?

Called YTMAG and they don"t know because the don"t stock the manual...just sell it.

Anybody know??

If it's one of the I&T manuals, I think they do.

Look in the left-hand column under Research and Info for Tune-up specs.

Nope! Don't waste your money! It's general info and includes many of the models. If you are looking for specific info it doesnt have a lot of it. Buy the owners manual and the the M service manual, SM-2001. Don't buy SM-2000 because that is also general for many different tractors.

Yes they do. I have the I&T JD-4 that lists for both the M and MT. Tune up specs are all the same for both models.

If you just want tune-up specs, the info is available online. If you want a bit more detail, buy the I&T manual. For even more info, buy the service manual.

I bought the I&T Manual [i:ac0c11fad4]and [/i:ac0c11fad4]the Service Manual (from Davenport Tractor). The I&T Manual is a condensed version of the Service Manual. Both have tune-up specs. The Service Manual costs a bit more, but if you ever need more than just tune-up specs, it is worth it.

The owners manual is fun to look at but not required...unless you really haven't been on an old tractor before.

Gap settings for plugs/points. Tractor is just too good of shape to not keep it running and use it. I would really like to find a manual that shows installation of the cultivation shoes and shovels. (It came with all of them plus disc, an original 2 bottom plow that's labeled "M-2-14" and a spring tooth harrow.

Points use a $1 I was told (.018-.022) and plugs are .025. Owners manual has all of that in there and how to adjust. I know some said not to bother with it but I am always thumbing through it.

The manual's show up on ebay all the time. If you can get us some pic's we can tell you which manual you need for the cultivator.
