JD wheel weights

Hi all. I need some advice on some rear wheel weights for a 2022 5045 tractor. Will the old weights, like off a 4020, fit this? Will generic or newer models fit? Just don’t want to pay new JD prices. Ballast will cost me about a $1000. Hoping to find something cheaper. Thanks in advance!

Rear wheel weights for 4020 bolt on with 3 bolts while similar weights for 5045 bolt on with 4 bolts therefore bolt spacings are different.

Thank you for that info! Are there several different bolt patterns, or would a 4 bolt pattern from any JD fit?

I'm do not know if all wheel weights that attach with 4 bolts have same bolt hole spacing but it will not surprise me if that is true.

Liquid ballast in my opinion is the best bang for the buck. Calcium chloride is the most cost effective but it does obviously have some detrimental side effects should you have a leak. There are many other options but the cost goes up. To get anywhere near the same weight with wheel weights will be very expansive and may be cumbersome. Just my two cents.Good Luck! John
