What do you guys think of a John Deere X304 mower, with the kawasaki motor in it? I need a new mower, I don't want to buy the crap that's out there, I want one that will last me longer then 5 years...I don't know if this one is any better then the others, it's down to this mower or back to an IH 184.
 
I have an LX280 with the 18 hp Kawasaki V-twin, which is very similar to the X304. Has plenty of power and sounds good under load. Its a geat mower and engine. You will love it. Mark
