JD Z445 Left hydro motor

My Z445 is a 2015 model with only 101 hours on it and the left hand hydro motor has went out. It is made by Tuff-Torq. Dealer
says mower is out of warranty. Cost of motor is $915 plus labor, total cost would be $1153.00. How did it go bad with only 101
hours of use? Did I buy a lemon? Is the right side going to go out too? Do I have any other options? Can I purchase the motor
myself on-line and install it? Is the mower worth repairing.? Thanks!

Raise up the seat and make sure the two rods to release the hydraulics so you can move it when the engine is not running are pushed back to engage the pumps. My grand son bought one which was not working and that turned out to be the problem, left rod was not pushed back.

I know their inventory changes all of the time, but look at The Surplus Center. They have had ZTR hydro units before,both sides.(if
you need one) I would be looking at the valves too.

you say its went out, only seen two that had issues in my 10-12 years runnin mower shop. first this unit you have is it pump and wheel motor unit or is it true hydro unit, I only seen couple deere ztr units in my shop so fill me in a little here, since all the mowers out there run the same two systems. but I really doubt your unit is out. check your releases. hydr will be lever style, pump wheel motor system will be bolt tighten system.as far as warranty when did you get it etc, each item is under its own warranty, tranny, engine etc. a lot dealers say that so they do not have to do the paper work. did you do your paperwork when you bought it or did you buy it new. in my area there are very few jd ztr units tractors style yes that there bread and butter

did you get your unit going never heard back which system you had. I stiil have a lot of the hyd style pumps if that's the one you have

On my Z445 it has a Tuff Torq hydro motor part #787Q0824000.

Hi ztrmower I just recently join the forum and I tried to private message you but it wouldn't allow me to. Anyways long story short I'm in search of a left hydro for my 2004 Dixon Ram. I was checking to see if you might have a good available for sale or maybe help put my the right direction to locate one. Any info would be highly appreciated. I been looking hi and low over the internet and I'm running into dead ends so far.

I have nothing available for a Dixon. May have to order a new one from Dixon
