JD4020 Crank Case Ventilator

I'm putting in a new In-Frame kit on my 1965 JD4020. At one time, I think I read that there was a service bulletin about removing one of the drive gears for the ventilator and welding the oil passage shut. Anyone have any knowledge of this bulletin? Currently I have the line capped off from the ventilator to the manifold as I installed a 40 series intake manifold as it gives more room to access the starter.

Remove the idler gear and weld the oil passage shut. On the last one I even welded the oil hole where tht
vent pump goes. Tom
