Just finishing restoring a 49 JD B and having hard time finding upper and lower radiator hoses to fit pipes. Upper measures 2 7/8" and lower is 2 5/8" ID. do I go with larger hose 3" and squeeze? or smaller 2 1/2" and stretch? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

The last A I did, I went to Deere. If I recall it was not a common size. I don't think it was cheap, but it was available.

A446R (upper) @ 6-inches long is cut from Deere stock number R32657, 2-7/8" ID. This is called "stick hose" and can also be found at NAPA for roughly $2/inch!

B2610R (lower) @ 8-inches long is cut from Deere stock number R32656, 2-58" ID. And like the one above, this one can be purchased from NAPA at roughly $2/inch. (PatB)
