JI Case 2590?

Hi everyone,

I thinking about going to look at a Case model 2590. Does anyone on here have much experience with this model? What are common things to go out or look for when considering buying one? Also this one has about 7500 hours on it is that good bad or not make much difference? I don't have any experience with this brand of tractor they just weren't very popular around area. I'm considering getting this to chisel plow with. Any info/ opinions are welcome

Do not buy this tractor unless you have someone you know that knows this tractor check it out.You may be buying a good tractor or a boat anchor

The 2590 is a tough work horse, the 504 engine is tough, 7500 is a lot of hours on a mechanical tach, look at the blow by, could of had work, i like to see a water filter, the park was a little weak have had to fix several not a lot of money mostly time,drive it an see if it shifts correctly,i've had a lot better luck using my own judgement,remember these are 30+years old, they are heavy an ride good, only had a 1000 PTO
