Is ther any body that can tell me where the hydrulic pump is on this?
It is a 1962 rowcrop with a wide front and power steering.
I want to find a place to tap in for a pressure line to run a hydra-turn snow plow. I was told I could tap in at the pump behind the steering wheel and it works as long as you have the remote hydrulic lever pushed forwards or back.
The plow is set up and works as long as the remote lever is one way or the other.

Just go to a tractor salvage yard and get the rear hydraulic remotes for a 40/420/430/435/440320/330 or 1010 up to serial number 31,000.
The factory system bolts right on, works and doesn't look like some cobbled up solution.

Are you returning the oil from your added valve "to sump", or back into the circuit you tapped into?

The added valve needs to be put IN SERIES with the oil flow, as this is an "open center" system.

Buick has the BEST solution, though!

GOOD LUCK FINDING ONE OF THOSE ! I'd think those will be VERY hard to locate. And since if they fit a 330 the most prized posession of all you will likely have to pay more for the hyd. than a 1010 is worth.

If I am getting what you are saying I need to run my feed line back in to where I tapped in at?
Basicly make a loop with my valve in the middle?

There are lots around if you look.
By the time you price every hose, fitting, bracket required to tinker on a home brew assembly. You are in most of the price on the proper system and only have a cob job to show for it.

The 1010 used open center hydraulics, not closed center.
