john deere 125 skid steer

I have a 125 John Deere and the parking brake does not work, is there any adjustments to be made or does something need to be replaced. And is it a big job to replace the brake if need be. Thanks Bill

It's been a while.but if I remember it uses a disc brake. The linkage operates a cam of sorts,when activated forces the 2 brake pucks against the disc. The pucks are adjustable by means of a nut and lock nut on the caliper. Back off the lock nut and tighten the other nut.This is assuming there is any adjustment left. if it won't tighten up the brake pucks may have to be replaced. That machine was built by Owatonna,if memory serves me. Hope this helps
