John Deere 2000 Help?

Hi All

Have acquired a John Deere 2000 (Made by Zetor as far as I can figure out) about 50hp.

However I have no details on any of the levers etc in the cab and the markings are worn off. I found a Spanish manual that gave some guidance but I'm not familiar with these at all.

Any assistance and knowledge to help operate and maintain would be greatly appreciated

New problem to add to the mix...

Clutch pedal and LH brake pedal drop to the floor. I'm sure they just need bleeding but where's the reservoir? I found one under the bonnet up near the window that's bone dry.

Is this the reservoir for clutch and brakes??

The 2000 shows as a Europe tractor only, no North American version. From looking at one of your past posts, you are in southern Australia, aren't you? Including that detail when you start a post might attract attention from other members nearer you who might have some knowledge of your model.

A check of the JD Technical Manuals store only shows a Spanish Operator's manual. You may need some help from a translator or translation program on a computer. I copied and pasted a few things from the Operator's manual into a translation program and got English results. You can find the electronic copy of the manual at https://techpubs.deere.com/ . Do an Equipment Publications search for 2000 and you should see the manual on page 2 of the choices. You can download a free copy. I was able to copy sentences from that to paste into the translation program. The Technical Manual (TM1563) is available to purchase in English. The English parts catalog (PC2409) is available to purchase, or below is a link to the free to use online copy at JDparts.com. Hope this helps get you started.
