John Deere 2440

i have a 2440 that I keep getting air bubbles in the glass fuel filter after about 2 mins of running. I checked all the fittings found no cracks at thee flared ends. even tightened the packing nut on the fuel shutoff valve on bottom of tank. could this problem be a lift pump starting to go bad and sucking air. im pulling my hair out.

I will suspect faulty fuel transfer pump or pin hole in fuel line from fuel tank to transfer pump.

Faulty check valve in fuel pump will cause fuel to foam/bubble.

hello, check to be sure you have a GOOD fuel flow from the tank BEFORE the fuel pump.. a restriction at the bottom of the tank will also give this problem..
