I got a John Deere 2510 that blew the coupling for the hydraulic pump. The coupling was replaced with new bolts and they were sheared off. I'm aiming for that one of the gears in the rollers broke. Is there any rebuild kit for the pump, and what is the easiest way to take it out. Thanks Have a great day.

There are no ''gears'' in the front hydraulic pump.

You can find parts breakdowns at the link below, and DEERE should still have any parts that may be needed.

If it still has the (small) original 4-piston pump some have upgraded, but I don't have any specific details on what it takes to do that.

Can you turn the pump shaft a full turn by hand with the coupler disconnected?

In addition to a mechanical failure in the pump, if you CAN turn it something MAY have happened to the stroke control/pressure control mechanism causing the pump not to destroke and hydraulically lock. Probably NOT likely, but possible.

I have a good used 4 piston 2510 pump that I replaced with a 8 piston. $100 plus shipping.
Thank you!

Do you really want the little bitty 4 piston pump when the eight piston pump is a bolt in ? Salvages yards are loaded with them .

(quoted from post at 11:24:05 09/06/23) Is there a way to tell the difference between a 4 and a 8? Thanks
