John deere 3010 Hydraulics

I went to use my John deere 3010 Diesel this year and the hydraulics will not work. What do I need to check first other than the fluid level? Need help

Do you have steering and brakes ? When was the filter changed last

Ditto on how long since hyd filter has been changed & hyd sump screen checked/cleaned? Check frt pump coupler to be sure pump shaft is turning when engine crankshaft is turning.

How cold was it and is there water in it. Mine sometimes has to idle for a bit before the hydraulics work.

I changed the filter and added hyd fluid to the full mark. The hitch only works when I rev it up to 1200RPM. The steering doesnt work very well ....
What now?

Have you ever checked sump screen for cleanliness? I suggest to check stand-by pressure which should be 2250 psi.
