John Deere 3020 Identification

My parents, who recently passed away, have a John Deere 3020 with the Serial# 155619R (based off of plate above PTO) and Type T113R (off the same plate). I'm going to need some miscellaneous parts (i.e., seat, etc) for it but have No idea the year it was made, potential value or anything else about it. As a side note, it has, what we called, 4 wheel drive if that's helpful (toggle switch on dash to engage front wheels).

Can anyone give me some insights into this tractor? THANKS.

That is a very collectable tractor. The front wheel drive adds a lot of value, and even the windshield I think would, as I believe that is the factory half cab that could be built around the ROPS which you
have.

It looks well taken care of. Power shift or syncro trans?

Some of us are envious!

You could take some pictures to a local ag auctioneer to get an idea what the local market price range might be. A local John Deere dealer or JD collectors club might be able to help too. Hours, options and tire condition make some difference. The 23 degree Firestone tires actually do look the same as what it may have had new from the factory. The hydraulic 4WD is very unusual and collectable. The very good condition helps a lot too. I don't know if the windshield helps or hurts, but it is very unusual. If it is factory it would be a very rare option. My guess is it should sell for over $10,000, good advertising should increase that. Write down as much history of the tractor as you can find, receipts, etc. Long time neighbors can help on that too.

From the pictures the seat does not look bad. Collectors like things left as original as possible, so other than getting it running, washed and waxed, I would leave it as-is for now.

Thanks to everyone for the responses. They've been most helpful. Based on the replies I've added a few more pictures; just in case they unlock any additional information you might share with me. Thanks again!

Dumb question:
Does the windshield help deflect some of the engine noise away from the operator? Solid metal canopies and most pre-1970s enclosed cabs were often noisier at the operator than the same open station tractor.

It does but more importantly it keeps the rain off and deflects dust, pollen, etc. when you're working with it.

Power shift or syncro trans? If the transmission is in park in the picture of the right side of the tractor the transmission is a Syncro-range. When in park the Powershift gear selection lever would be visible at about seat cushion level.
