Just wanted to give an update to my earlier thread. Thank you to Wore Out for the electrical diagram and trouble tree. I was blowing the 20amp fuse for the electric PTO clutch. I went thru all the electrics and it finally pointed to the PTO electric clutch. I learned a new skill set by removing the old one, installing the new one and getting the gap set. Did a test run on a still soggy lawn yesterday.......success. Thanks again to everyone.
I also need to comment on the no start thread that is also on here for 318. There was mention of a mouse nest. Before I started my 318 after the clutch repair, I decided to take the large square air cleaner chamber lid off in case I needed to prime the carb. The entire chamber was filled with shelled corn !! I had some ear corn in a bag for outside critters.....I did notice the bag had been molested......I looked in and it was full of cobs !!
Have fun
