John Deere 390 Flail Mower

Have some vibration from the mower, what should I look for, rotor bent, or how important is it that all knives be in place to balance things? Don't have much experience with flail mowers any advise is appreciated.

i added some extra blades to mine right in behind the track where the tires run. seems to help suck the bent over stuff up and cut it better. keep the bearings on the ends of the roller greased real good. don't turn sharp corners with it down. should have the same number of blades on each row of knives. i made a grind stone to sharpen my blades with. the grind stone has a steel backing plate to it and i set it up on a jack shaft and set it up to turn real slow. i added a vise that you can crank on and it will travel in and out toward the blade. the rock is turned on its side and you clamp the blades down and turn it into the stone. i keep a spray bottle of water and keep spraying the blades as they sharpen. if you make one make it where you can sit down and work. long process and may be cheaper to buy blades, but a man has to do what a man has to do.
