I have a jd 40t tore apart that I don"t have time to put back together, too many irons in the fire. The tractor ran good but I didn"t want to run it because of excessive crankshaft play so I tore it apart and now it sits. The good- new head, good tires,front and rear wheel weights. The bad- beat up nose and hood, crankshaft was loose, its in pieces. I am considering selling it as a "KIT" , any idea what it would be worth as is? I paid 1700$ about ten years ago for it, I can store it for 20 years before I take a beating if I have to and call it a retirement project also. Thanks
