Hey I m new here. I am helping my pa in-law fix a 4010 and we ve ran into a problem we can t figure out. The clutch housing busted and we replaced it with another. After everything was reassembled the lift wasn t working. We called a few people to ask around and they mentioned something about a pin. Well the only 2 pins we see is one in the load control arm and the other is the stop pin. We adjust the crown nut to the specifications the manual said. But it doesn t work. Has anyone else ran into this issue? I m gonna attach a few pictures of what we dealing with when I figure out how to.

We have the Load Control Shaft out to check on everything else but we don t see anything out of the ordinary.

Also we checked the hydraulics at 2000 with the gauges. The power steering works and levers. Literally everything works except the lift arms.

Can you take a picture straight down on the load control arm pivot shaft supports?

Something looks off in your picture like the lock plate is bent up and has been making contact with something ... items # 12, 13, 14 in the parts diagram I attached.

I see metal shavings in that housing by the drain plug. How dirty were the filter screen and the filter when you changed them?

On second look maybe those are just install marks on lock plate from hammer or chisel ... still check clearance it is close to ring. Also have tou checked/adjusted linkage under right cover?

I think I see what you mean but I think we figured it out. The cam shaft (8 in the diagram) wasn t lined up properly. We are about to set the rock shaft housing back on and pray that s what it was. We had another local farmer tell us it could possibly be the timing was off as well. I ll give an update when we get one. Thank you for your response tho. I do have some more pictures I took over the weekend I ll attach under this post.
