Hello all, Im rebuilding a 430 that has set up for some time. Had water in tranny so ill replace all bearings. I have ordered a few bearings from deere and found them to be made in china.
Many of the old bearings are HYATT BEARINGS they seem much heavier than the newer ones ordered. My question is, can I cross the JD number to a better bearing supplier if so who do
you guys recommend?

If you have the old bearing out use that number in your search. They are not JD numbers on the bearing. If not and have a parts book with the JD number post them and we can cross the here for you.

Last winter we replaced every bearing in the trans case on our 4020. We took the Deere part numbers and crossed them over to Timken. We were able to replace every bearing with US bearings. I got most of them from CarID as they had the best prices. CaseIH is another good place to get US bearings as they offer every bearing they sell in a made in USA. A little more pricey but they can get them. Tom
