John Deere 4320 row crop

I have a John Deere 4320 the three point doesn’t work when you move it goes up about 3 in and sounds like grinding what makes the three point work

Start with the easy stuff.
How long since sump screen and filters were serviced?
Is the oil level correct?

Ditto on checking/cleaning oil suction screen & changed hyd filter. Next I suggest to check hyd stand-by pressure which should be 2250-2350 psi. Is load control knob located by operators right leg in lowest position marked "D"?

No it’s right next to the seat on right side with the hydraulic remotes

I stated "D" but I think 4230 L/D control should be in "minimum"

When I was getting to run the field cultivator after school..... Moons ago..
Our 4320 wouldn't lift the machine up at end of the pass. Our mechanic came out, moonlight job, and yep fines in the dump and filters, main axle bearing set-up had failed inside the axle housing causing it to cut grooves into that inside casting, thus where the fines came from. GG Wes.

I will clean the screen and order a new filter and see if that fixes it
