John Deere 44 trip plow

What are the tricks to removing the land wheel on the 44 plow. Removed the nuts, hub and retainer on axle and it will move about 1 inch. Wondering if I missed something. Just don't want to break anything.

The wheel is on a tapered steel hub and can be tight. I use a long heavy pry bar inserted thru the fram from the opposite side and drive it against the wheel with a heavy hammer. Has always worked for me. There is a video on YouTube.
