John Deere 445

Deere 445, motor dies after releasing parking brake. I've got the seat, reverse, PTO solenoid switches all bypassed. I couldn't figure out how to bypass the brake and PTO switch so I bought new and installed them. I've got the seat pan along with the foot pan remove, everything is very assessable at the moment The (2) 15 amp fuses on the circuit board are good. I pulled apart the 2 relays by the circuit board, they look clean but dont know how to test so plugged them back in. I've followed all the wire looms front to back, and they all look good, doesn't look as if there's any damage there, but one does't know for sure because cant see the wiring inside the loom. This thing should run after all I've done. I'm at at loss. I thought maybe key switch went south, but it starts right up, so I've convinced myself that's good. I've read blogs where the blogger stated to follow Deere's test procedure to pin point the problem, but gives no links to the procedure. I see nothing of the like in my service manual, I also searched google with no hits....Any ideas where to go from here?...new wire loom? circuit board? testing procedures?

You must not have an OEM manual as the DEERE manuals generally have very good diagrams and troubleshooting trees. It would have been good to have that info at hand before "bypassing" things.

FWIW, I repaired a 445 many years ago by resoldering an obviously cracked solder joint on the PC board.
