I need to replace the motor on the actuator for the net wrap. It is not sold seperately Does anyone know where I can buy just the 12v motor. the entire actuator is 850.00

try cooks tractor parts in Missouri. they do salvage balers as well.

Are you sure the 12v motor is shot? Was the motor locked up, fried, to hot to touch or just won't kick in?

Can you get the motor removed from the rest of the assembly? If so, you may be able to have the motor reparied, in the good old days there were shops in every town, now I'm not sure. You could also check with Granger, Ferguson, or maybe even Applied Industrial Technologies at applied.com
They carry alot of the parts we all use, at reduced cost, and alot of their stock is AMERICAN Made. Good luck

I have it removed and have contacted warner the manufacture the actuator was made exclusivly for JD and they cant even sell me a replacement. JD does not sell the motor seperatly. The local motor shop cant fix or get one. I have searched the web the part does not exsist.I will check some of the places mentioned

Usually when the motor fails it is because the screw stuck and made the motor fail. JD is not always trying to cheat you guys.

True JD sales man the motor from the twine tie fit on the net wrap and works fine. I have spoken to 3 different JD dealerships that said they wished the could find the replacement motor they would by a truck load.

Also try Wellington Tractor Parts in TX, they got a FEW burned ones, all colors, and sometimes they have a few good parts left, I found some sprockets for my JD535, and a gate lift cylinder.... owner is Steve

Take a look at this post "ATTN HayDr" OEM electric actuator. This might could be made to work for you.
