John Deere 494 corn planter

I am going to look at a 494 corn planter and was wondering if parts were still available.Thinking mainly about the kits for the seed knockers. Also perhaps a owners manual.

You can still get some parts for them from deere. I know just the closing wheels you can not get anymore. I have not had to get anything else on mine yet. I've bought several parts off of other planters and got 2 more to look at. They are good planters.

Those seed knockers are used up thru the last of the plate type planters in the 7000 series that I know of.
