John Deere 50 power steering

What type of power steering oil should I be using in my John Deere model 50 with factory power steering? I have reproduction service and operator manuals but can't for the life of me find any reference to power steering in either of them. Thanks in advance. Don.

John Deere sells a special two cylinder power steering oil. It does seem to work well.

John Deere has it in quart containers. Part number is AF2235R

When the 50's first came out power steering was not available so that is why the manuals do not have it in. The power steering is a separate service manual and I am guessing that a latter version of the operators manual would give some info on it. Tom
